CLIFF L. CHEUNG, CFA

Prior to InterLeader Capital, Cliff spent two decades with PAMA Group where he was partner, managing director & chief investment officer. PAMA, originally Prudential Asia and one of Asia’s longest established private equity firms, was established in 1986 in Hong Kong by The Prudential Insurance Co. of America. PAMA invested approximately US$1.3 billion in over 100 companies across 11 different countries in Asia-Pacific. Cliff engages closely with investee companies in different industries and countries through active participation in their boards and management committees. Cliff has also co-founded two hotels in Japan working with world-renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.

Cliff was formerly chairman of the Hong Kong Private Equity & Venture Capital Association, member of the Listing Committee of the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and member of the Asia-Pacific Advocacy Committee of the Institute of CFA. Active in social services and innovations, Cliff was founding chairman of Social Investors Club and has served on the boards of well-regarded charitable organizations, including SOW Asia and Chi Heng Foundation. He is currently a director of the Hong Kong Children in Need Foundation.

Cliff graduated from the University of Hong Kong and attained his EMBA at J.L. Kellogg School of Management/HKUST Business School. Cliff is a charterholder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He completed a leadership program at the Tsinghua University in Beijing and holds an Advanced Diploma in Practical Chinese Medicine Beauty Studies from HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education.
